How to change personalize desktop icon setting in Windows 7

Windows 7 is packed with bundles of new desktop features. You can make multiple changes of your own choice. It gives you multiple options for setting font of desktop icon and by choosing any option you to personalize them as you wish.

If you don’t know how to personalize desktop icons font setting in Windows 7 then follow below steps.

Steps

  • Go to Windows start menu orb, type “Fonts” in search box and then hit “Enter”. Window will open with different fonts on it. Choose any one of your choice to apply.
  • To change the font size, select “Change Font Size” tab from menu that is located on left side of Fonts pane.
  • Here you will see three options: small, medium and large. By default, the selected option is small. Check the radio button and preview will appear on right side. If you are not satisfied, then change the other option and check result in preview. Once you are satisfied, click on “Apply” button to apply changes. Please do remember one thing that larger font size based on items that are displayed on desktop screen.

Adjust clear type

If it is hard for you to read text then you can adjust clear type to improve the text readability. From menu, click “Adjust ClearType text” and select the text from sample that is easy for you to read. Done!
