How to setup Dual Monitors appearance in Windows 7

It is good to have dual monitors but you also find few difficulties while making setup of both. If you have two monitors with different height and size, then it seems annoying to shift mouse pointer between them. If you also feel annoyance then today you came at the right place. Here you will see how to make setup process easier with dual monitors.

Below steps are not specific for Windows 7 but you can use then in all Windows versions. Have a look on!

  • If you are working on Windows Vista right click on empty area of desktop and choose “Personalize”. Go to Personalize appearance and sounds menu and select “Display Settings”. If you are on XP then select “Properties” from desktop right click menu. Properties Window will appear. Choose “Settings” tab from menu.
  • Now come towards Windows 7. Go to start menu, write “display settings” and press “Enter”.
  • From here you can customize monitors appearance. Let’s suppose, we have one 24’’LCD and the other is 19’’. Obviously you will feel irritation in moving pointer between both monitors.
  • Now move each monitor to a particular height and this way you can easily get the mouse pointer over. You can also flip the monitors, change display, orientation etc. Enjoy the wonderful trick friends!
