When you insert CD or DVD disc into your system or USB drive is connected to system, autorun.inf is the file for which windows search from the root directory of the new disc or drive. - When you want to completely block autorun.inf files in windows, you will download a reg file. ‘Block_Autorun.inf_Files.reg’ is the file which you need to download and save on your computer.
- Right click on this reg file, click on merge. Now run it and restart your computer to see the changes.
- If you want to unblock autorun.inf files, download ‘Unblock_Autorun.inf_Files.reg’ file, save it on desktop. Right click on this reg file, click on merge. Run it and click on yes when it prompts. Restart your computer to see the changes.
