Change message settings for action center in windows 7

Windows 7 keep track on different areas for finding problems, these areas are selected by windows users. If windows see any trouble in those areas, action center icon shows you a message notifying about particular problem. You can click on message to know problem details and can sort it out. You can change, add or remove areas for monitoring and customize settings for action center to display message about problem. You can follow these guidelines to change settings.

  • Go to start menu, and open control panel. Click on action center from available options.
  • Action center window will show up, at top left side you will click on change action center setting link. When you click on it, there might be some listed areas appear for windows solution center, you can change their settings as well.
  • When you open action center setting link, you can check different areas which you want action center to monitor and keep you update about them. If you want to remove some areas from monitoring, just uncheck them, action center will not monitor them in future. Click on ok when you are done with all the settings.
