Windows 7 has many salient features one of them is the Aero peek is which allows the administrator to temporarily view the desktop when he / she move the mouse the desktop button at the end of the taskbar. To initiate click open the start menu then type regedit in the search column and hit enter.
A UAC window will prompt out then click yes option at the end of the page.
In regedit, enter the following command code and hit enter key on the key board.

Right click on an empty space and go to the New option then to DWORD (32-bit) Value. Type DesktopLivePreviewHoverTime and press enter.
Right click on DesktopLivePreviewHoverTime and click on Modify, then select Decimal.
Set the time in milliseconds, which you want to delay time and click ok at the end.
You will now see the time changed now in the registry.
Close regedit.
Log off and log on, or restart the computer to apply the changes.
