How to apply UAC settings in Windows 7

While using Windows 7, users would like to add added protection to their systems that will prevent the malicious softwares from being installed on the system. This can be easily done through the use of getting the UAC settings installed on your computer. These settings will get the system protected and safe. The steps to either enabling or disabling the user UAC is described as follows. The steps will only help the user in getting the access to the UAC settings.

  • Go to start menu and click on the search field to get the term “Change the user account control settings” typed and searched
  • Once the search is complete the results will be displayed, choose the relevant one
  • A control panel screen will open up with a new dialog screen open up that will show the settings the user request for
  • The protection options are displayed in a manner of 3 levels
  • The first one among them is the “Always notify me” , choosing this option will apply the settings that will make the computer protected against any malicious software being installed, the highest level security in other words
  • The second option among them is “Default” which allows the computer to take the actions that it thinks will be applied once the screen dims out, no fake application can replicate this effect.
  • The third among them is “Never Notify me” this will get the applications installed without letting the user be notified of the new applications that are being installed on the computer
  • Make your selection and once done, click on ok
