In windows 7, you can create shortcut for autoplay. You can keep this shortcut on desktop, taskbar and other places where you can get it easily. To create autoplay shortcut, there are two different methods that really help you in this process.
- First method is to download ‘AutoPlay.zip’ folder, save this zip folder on your computer. Open it and extract the autoplay shortcut on desktop. Now right click on the autoplay shortcut, a popup window will appear, click on Properties, General tab, and on the Unblock button. Autoplay shortcut has been created, and you can move it to taskbar or desktop for easy access.
- Second method to create shortcut is right click on empty area on desktop, click on new and shortcut.
- ‘%windir%\explorer.exe shell:::{9C60DE1E-E5FC-40f4-A487-460851A8D915}’ is the location which you will type in box and press enter. Now you will type a name for autoplay shortcut, and click on finish. A shortcut has been created and it will be available on desktop.
- You can change the icon for this shortcut, right click on it and click on properties. At next window, click on shortcut tab and select change icon. Click on ok when you are finish with it.
