Windows 7 provides the ability of customizing the way a folder looks. Users can get the folder view according to the way they want it as. This can be easily done through a simple process which is described in the following steps.
- Go to My Computer and into the drive where your folder is located
- Right click on the folder and go to Properties from the drop down that pops up
- In the properties option, go to Customize tab and go to Folder picture option
- Browse the picture that you want to display as folder display
- Select the file that you want as the folder preview and press Ok
- Return to your desktop or your folder explorer window
- Upon re visiting your folder, you will notice that the folder preview would have change to the picture that you chose for it
- The picture chosen for folder preview does not become obsolete and can be changed at any given time
- Just revise the steps given above and choose a new picture format file and apply it to get the desired results to your folder preview. Windows 7 is the only operating system that would display the folder preview function.
