In order to make a Dashboard Widget for the facebook game you need to do the following:

1. First of all open Safari from the Mac OS X.
2. Now you need to login to your account by visiting the Facebook page.

• Now you can see status updates, activities and profile picture of your social connected friends when you write or view message from your friend. If you are sending messages to more than one friend, you will see pictures of your friends at top right of people pane. You can move between friend’s profiles by clicking on pictures.

Follow the given steps to use this app for document conversion.

• Sign in your Facebook account.
• Follow the link http://apps.facebook.com/pdf-converter/ to open the app.
• It will display the window of Requests for Permission. After reading it, click the Allow button.
• To upload the file to be converted, tap the Browse button.

This app is also not without limitations. It can convert files with size up to 2MB only. This application also requires to access a little of your personal data. So you should not use it for confidential documents.

Indecent and abusive comments posted on Facebook about a female mathematics teacher saw 16 students of a leading private school suspended from their institution. The students, all from Class 12 of Vivek High School in Sector 38 here, were suspended for three months, school authorities confirmed Thursday.

The incident took place earlier this week when a Class 12 student, who got low marks in his mathematics exam, posted his answer sheet on Facebook with rude and abusive comments about the female teacher. Fifteen of his classmates also chipped in with their comments says IBNLive

All the comments against the teacher were nasty, rude and abusive.

A teacher of the school, who also had an account on the website, saw the comments and reported the matter to the school management which took the indiscretion of the students very seriously.

“This kind of behaviour is unacceptable on a public platform. We had to take action to ensure that the right message goes to the students,” said Vivek High School chairman HS Mamik.

With this new Group features users will be able to interact and send messages to group members only rather than sending to all. In addition, the ‘groups’ feature would also provide privacy as the messages are swapped only between those within the groups.

Zuckerberg said in a blog “We’ve long heard that people would find Facebook more useful if it were easier to connect with smaller groups of their friends instead of always sharing with everyone they know.”

By default, new Groups are Closed.  That means anything posted in the group is only visible to people in it. The name of the group and its members are still visible to everyone, so your friends can find the right group. You can also use the settings to create groups that have their name and members unlisted (“Secret”), or create groups that have more public settings (“Open”).

BeingPC Verdict

When a group member posts to the group, everyone in the group will receive a notification about that post. Now, for example, I won’t have to guess anymore about whether my parents saw the pictures I posted of their grandkids; when I post in my family group, I’ll know that they’ve been notified about it and that only they will see it.

Facebook has also added a bunch of new features to Groups to make sharing and communication with small groups of people easier. One of them is group chat, one of our most frequently requested features.

So we would say that’s a good move by Facebook.
