Its slightly annoying so I’m going to tell everyone why you should not be doing this. Let’s start with an example shall we”

Let us say instead of us being webmasters we are all car dealerships. Everywhere we look salesman come in Car Showroom asking “hey, which car gives the highest margin of profit for me?”.
Of course we all reply Lamborghini, private jets, tanks, etc.

As a sales person for a long time I know the game so I reply that it is stupid that people run around trying to get a Lamborghini dealership because the competition is so high you’ll never sell one because the competition is too tough.

That’s an example of being unrealistic in the car dealership world.

In the same sense focusing on high paying click sites is unrealistic for beginner to intermediate level webmasters.
Lets face it, the typical webmaster shows a major lack in quality care for their websites by using free templates, putting ads in by mass amounts, and using non-unique content therefore the typical webmaster has great difficulties competing and ranking high. By wanting high paying keywords you are asking for a face off against companies like VISA. The amount of corporate business that dominate these high paying keywords are overwelming.

At digitalpoint there is a trend us senior webmasters laugh at. first we see the “what’s the high paying keywords” then in a month or so we see the “I can’t get any traffic, how do I get traffic”. We laugh because we own and compete against a few larger companies and the beginner to intermediate webmasters struggle to make a penny because they are too bigheaded to be realistic.

The people who are good to own the high paying keyword rank site are not the random webmasters you see at DP. They are the people who own 50+ franchises, the one’s who have their own TV station, the one’s who have a $500,000 investment.

The people like me who are somewhat successful do not chase dreams like that and slowly but surely we increase our revenue with adsense with a 9 to 30 cents per click rating and we do not complain about that because we get a LOT of traffic and just build the traffic up.

The “Group”

With this new Group features users will be able to interact and send messages to group members only rather than sending to all. In addition, the ‘groups’ feature would also provide privacy as the messages are swapped only between those within the groups.

Zuckerberg said in a blog “We’ve long heard that people would find Facebook more useful if it were easier to connect with smaller groups of their friends instead of always sharing with everyone they know.”

How to create Groups

By default, new Groups are Closed.  That means anything posted in the group is only visible to people in it. The name of the group and its members are still visible to everyone, so your friends can find the right group. You can also use the settings to create groups that have their name and members unlisted (“Secret”), or create groups that have more public settings (“Open”).

Give it a try and create a few groups of your own at http://www.facebook.com/groups.

BeingPC Verdict

When a group member posts to the group, everyone in the group will receive a notification about that post. Now, for example, I won’t have to guess anymore about whether my parents saw the pictures I posted of their grandkids; when I post in my family group, I’ll know that they’ve been notified about it and that only they will see it.

Facebook has also added a bunch of new features to Groups to make sharing and communication with small groups of people easier. One of them is group chat, one of our most frequently requested features.

So we would say that’s a good move by Facebook.

A Better Photo Viewer

The new viewer makes it simpler and faster to navigate photos. You can now view photos and even whole albums without even having to go to a new page. Instead, the photo opens in the center of your screen, and you close it when you’re done. There’s no need to go back and forth between pages or reload the page.

Facebook Photos – Improvements

1. Facebook has  already increased the size of photos.
2. They’ve also added face detection to make it easier to tag photos on your home page and throughout the site.

Easier Tagging and Uploading

When people upload a set of photos, they are often of events like weddings and birthday parties where people are with the same group of friends and family. With Facebooks’s new uploader, you will be able to tag multiple photos in the same album all at once, as well as tag photos of the same person with a lot less effort.

Also they’ve  completely rebuilted the photo uploader to be more stable and reliable. It now uses the latest Flash technology, so that your experience getting photos onto Facebook is an easy one—especially when you have lots of them.

BeingPC Verdict:

We did tried to check out the new photo viewer but sadly its not working properly, the prototype is not Live yet, so you probably not be able to see the new photo viewer, but just in case you want to experience the look and feel of it you can check out this album
