Few days ago I have created an application Hide Taskbar, which helps you to hide your taskbar with a single click or a Hotkey.

Till now I have never provided the source code of any of my softwares, but today for the first time I am giving out the source code for this program on demand of one of my reader.

First the application is not created in .NET or JAVA, it is created in a scripting language named Autohotkey. But I can assure you you can learn this in a day time. Ok leave the crap coming to the point here is source code of the Hide Taskbar-

^esc::
if toggle := !toggle
WinHide ahk_class Shell_TrayWnd
else
WinShow ahk_class Shell_TrayWnd
return

First Line: Defines Hotkey CTRL+ESC
Second Line: Enable toggling with same hotkey
Third Line: Shell_TrayWnd is the autohotkey class id of Taskabr and Winhide is used to hide it.

So what are you planning to do, hide something else?

Before getting started lets first know what a barcode is.

A barcode is an optical machine-readable representation of data, which shows certain data on certain products. Originally, barcodes represented data in the widths (lines) and the spacings of parallel lines, and may be referred to as linear or 1D (1 dimensional) barcodes or symbologies. They also come in patterns of squares, dots, hexagons and other geometric patterns within images termed 2D (2 dimensional) matrix codes or symbologies.- Wikipedia

A few words: Atlassian is an Australian software company specializing in collaboration and development tools. The reason it stands different is, its strongly believes in Open Source. They support Open Source by supplying their own code, supporting other projects by donating their software, and sponsoring Java User Groups.

JIRA is one of the open source projects running Atlassian software. Professional Software Developer are aware of this term, as it helps them to track issues in their program. JIRA simplifies every step of tracking issues, for everyone involved. So what exactly is JIRA, its a bug tracking or issue tracking or whatever you call it helps you to track issues in your project, in simple easy steps. Take a Tour of JIRA and learn more about it issue tracking. Atlassian provides a wide range of tools which includes tools for finding Code, testing and reviewing code. So you can perform all kind of test on your code by using them. Checkout agile tool’s.

When I checked out there website I found a cool statement which describe their work strategy

We’re not a “follow the rules” software company and we know there is no single recipe for practicing agile development. We were once hungry for practical tips, so we thought we should share our agile story… – agile

For Non Professionals: Agile software development refers to a group of software development methodologies based on iterative development, where requirements and solutions evolve through collaboration between self-organizing cross-functional teams.

Till now people think that Indian IT companies can only provide support facility and can run BPO’s successfully but after Windows 7 a new boom has came in Indian IT sector. Now the Indian centers are actively involved in research and product development. The Indian development centers of Intel and Microsoft stand testimony to that. The recent launch of Microsoft’s Windows 7 operating system too had significant contributions coming from Microsoft India Development Center (MSIDC) in Hyderabad.

MSIDC and Windows 7
Microsoft India Development Center situated in Hyderabad is one of the largest Microsoft R&D centers outside their headquarters in Redmond, USA. This center started 11 years ago with a team of just 20 people, and over these years has grown to become a team of around 1500 employees.

Developing Games is a passions for some and a dream for others, but for those who really want to surf this wave, Microsoft Faculty Connect Resource Center has brought a new learning resource for Aspiring Game Developers.

“Getting Started Making Games with C# and XNA Game Studio” is a programming course for students with no prior programming experience. It is intended to engage students with the craft of programming by the creation of gameplay using the XNA game framework.

This complete course is Authored by MVP Rob Miles

Overview of the Course:

“Getting Started Making Games with C# and XNA Game Studio” is a programming course for senior high school or undergraduate students with no prior programming experience. It is intended to engage students with the craft of programming by the creation of gameplay using the XNA game framework.

Whilst the students will learn how to create games, the course should really be regarded as one which teaches programming. All of the issues that are explored are also applicable in the wider scheme of software development.

Presentations are provided as part of the learning materials. The presentations are grouped into a number of topic based parts with a practical session to underpin the taught content. Each presentation is interspersed with demonstrations and annotated with speaker notes, as well as content review sessions.

The material is intended to foster a dialogue between the presenter and the audience; in some places the presenter is given some discussion points to further this. There are also some “interactive development” sections where presenter and audience use what they have been taught so far to solve a particular problem. These attempts (and their occasional failure) lead to more detailed exposition of the material and hopefully remind those present that having things not work is actually part of the software development experience.
