‘Change_Current_User_Devices_and_Printers_Icon_in_Start_Menu.reg’ is the .reg file which you need to download for changing icons. Save it on your computer, right click on .reg file, merge it and then run it. Once it is prompted, open registry editor, and go to default icon, right click on it to select modify.

You can select icon form your computer, just give path into value data and click on ok. You can also use another windows 7 icon, for that you need to install iconviewer, navigate to .exe or .dll file, which has icon you want to set. Right click on file, click on properties and icons. In modify window, type full path of file and click ok.

For all users

Type regedit in start menu and enter it. Now you will go to location ‘HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{A8A91A66-3A7D-4424-8D24-04E180695C7A}\DefaultIcon’, in left pane, right click on default icon, click on permissions.
